5.3 Your profile as an interlocutor
How did the class date go? Was it fun to talk to your classmates?
Now it's time to make your profile as an interlocutor. This is your final product. In it, you´ll write about your communicative talents, the way you have used them and how you could improve them in future conversations.

Example:“Practice leads to perfection”, I said to him when he asked, “What can I do to improve my English?”

Definition:
Personal information about someone.
Información personal sobre alguien.
Example:When you open an Instagram account, you can write some sentences about yourself in the profile.
Cuando abres una cuenta en Instagram, puedes escribir algunas frases sobre tí mismo en tu perfil.
1. How to fill in your profile as an interlocutor”
In the next tabs, you can read about the different sections of “My Profile as an Interlocutor”. Click on them to complete your profile.
Your classmates´ feedback
Your teacher will give you “Your Profile as an Interlocutor”. In the first section “Your classmates´ feedback” your teacher has marked in blue your communicative talents and in red the abilities you need to improve. Look at it and think about it. Do you agree?
Your own analysis
Write a short text to describe your experience as an interlocutor in the class date. You can use the sentences in the next section to help you write this text.
Sentences to help you write
In this section, you can use some of the sentences to write your own analysis. For each item that was assessed in the class date (emotions, questions, short phrases, body language and roles in communication) there are several sentences you can use. Choose the one that suits your experience best.
Your teacher’s feedback
In this section, your teacher will give you their point of view about your progress. Read it carefully.
Definition:
A small rectangle on a computer screen. When you click on it, you can see a new document or page.
Pequeño rectángulo en la pantalla del ordenador. Cuando pinchas en ella puedes ver un nuevo documento o página.
Example:I sometimes have so many tabs open on my computer that I lose track of what I was working on.
Algunas veces tengo tantas pestañas abiertas en el ordenador que no encuentro en lo que estaba trabajando.

Perspective, opinion.
Perspectiva, opinión.
Example:It´s important to consider a conflict from different points of view.
Es importante considerar un conflicto desde diferentes puntos de vista.

2. What have I learnt?
In this last step, I am going to ask you to think about what has been the most important thing you have learnt in order to achieve the challenge.
What you discover by thinking, will help you when you have to meet similar challenges in the future.
Stop for a moment and complete STEP 4 of your Learning Diary (What have I learned?)!
Remember:
- Ask your teacher whether you will fill it in on paper or on the computer.
- If you fill it in on the computer, don't forget to save it on your computer when you finish it!
