Through these activities you will practise how to report statements and questions.
Definition:
To give or gather information.
Dar o reunir información.
Example:They have to report on the natural disaster.
Tienen que informar sobre el desastre natural.
Choose the correct option in each gap according to the rules of reported speech.
Definition:
Separation between two elements.
Separación entre dos elementos.
Example:In exams you have to fill in the gaps with the right words.
En exámenes hay que completar los huecos con palabras correcta.
Record sentences in reported speech according to these statements and questions.
Very old films didn’t have sound. They were called silent films or silent movies. This is a scene from a very famous silent movie called “The Kid” by Charlie Chaplin. Can you imagine what characters were saying and transcribe their dialogues using reported speech?
