What season do you enjoy most?

Do you take part in any particular sporting or cultural events?

In this section, you will describe photographs of different events around you.

This will help you with the final task.

1. Your neighborhood

Brainstorm with all your classmates about different events that took place in your neighborhood or village last year.

Then, in small groups, choose one event to describe. You have to try to tell every detail and illustrate, if possible, with pictures. Make a paper or digital book from the descriptions each group has presented.

You can share your book in your classroom library, on the school blog, or even with the town hall.

Think of your hometown festivities.

Piensas en las fiestas de tu pueblo o barrio.

Tell your classmates the festivities you know.

Dices las fiestas que conoces a la clase.

4. Have I been able to do the activity?

You have already finished the activity Your Neighborhood. Maybe the beginning caused fear and insecurity.

If you complete STEP 2 of the Learning Diary (Have I been able to do the task at hand? Will I be able to do it?), you will see that those feelings are common when you start a task and reflecting on this will help you reduce your insecurities in the next activities.

Remember:

- Ask your teacher whether you will fill it in on paper or on the computer.

- If you fill it in on the computer, don't forget to save it on your computer when you finish it!
