4.3. A suitcase of words

In this section we are going to practice with the words that we have seen in the previous section. 

All of them are related to travel experiences. 

They may help you when planning your tour.

1. Don't go blank

 It is always good to know what to say when planning a trip. These exercises will help you.

Option A: The tourist cards

Can you identify these objects? Match the pictures with the words.

Option C: The travel agent

Imagine you are a travel agent and you are talking to two customers who want to spend a weekend in Andalusia. They need transport, accommodation and a couple of activities. Think of a good plan for them and record yourself. Use the images to help you.

a) Classify the words according to the different categories:

b) Now choose three travel experiences from above and talk about them. You can use the following questions:

  • Where can you do those activities?
  • How much do you think they cost?
  • What items do you need for them?
  • Who would you go with?
