In the previous section, you have learnt about different NGOs close to you.
Now, it is time to organize your ideas and advertise your NGO.
Definition:
To promote something to make it known to people.

1. Open Arms
In small groups, design a poster for the NGO in your neighborhood.
You can follow the following steps:
- Do you know any NGO? You can make a poster about it, you can also search the internet for NGOs that work in your area or even abroad.
- What work does that NGO do? Present it attractively on your poster. Give the necessary information to encourage people to support the cause.
- Make it attractive.
Definition:
Reason why something is done.

Example:
Freedom of speech is a noble cause to support.
La libertad de expresión es una noble causa que apoyar.

Cooperate to make something happen.
Cooperar para que algo suceda.
Example:

It should let potential volunteers know about your NGO and services.
Therefore, use high-quality, clear and colorful images that will grab attention, create a mood and support a cause.
Using an image as your focal point can effectively get viewers to look at your poster more closely.
Motus dice ... Did you make a mistake while doing the activity?
It is normal to make mistakes at the beginning. Failure is part of learning.
Do you remember when you first rode a bike or you tried to swim?
Surely it wasn't easy at first, but you tried and tried again.
With each failure, we learn from the mistake and improve for the next time.
To learn from your mistakes, follow these tips:
- Realise where you have failed.
- Look for ways to improve that mistake.
- Try again.
- Understand that mistakes are important for learning.
Don't forget that from each mistake we make, we learn something.
2. Identify what I have to do
You already know what your challenge is and the activity that will bring you closer to the goal. But to succeed, you will need some strategies that will help you in this and other similar tasks. You will discover them in a diary that we call your Learning Diary.
We suggest you open it now and complete STEP 1 of the Learning Diary before you start the activity you have just read about!

- Ask your teacher whether you will fill it in on paper or on the computer.
- If you fill it in on the computer, don't forget to save it on your computer when you finish it!

If you complete STEP 2 of the Learning Diary, you will see that those feelings are common when you start a task. Reflecting on this will help you reduce your insecurities in the next activities.
