To feel calm and confident during your program broadcasting, you need to know what you are going to say. 

This will make you feel confident, so, focus on the next activity and do your best.

3. How about writing?

Now you are going to write your podcast script. To do it, follow these steps:

1. Do research

Do some online research to find the information you need.

Write your script

Have a look at the script model you have made previously.

Follow these tips:

  • Make it simple, develop only one idea in each sentence. Use short sentences.
  • Keep in mind that you are not to read your script. Say spontaneous comments whenever you consider it.
  • Revise what you wrote if you think something is not clear.

You must be polite.

You can use polite expressions like “Can you repeat it, please?”.

Remember to say “please” and “thank you” in the interview and “excuse me” if you want to ask a question or call for attention.

You may use expressions like “good to see you” when you introduce a person in a program. 

Do not forget that your podcast has to be attractive to the audience. A  bit of sense of humour will be welcomed.
