Describing clothes: adjective order

  1. Opinion
  2. Size
  3. Colour
  4. Pattern
  5. Material

      Example: She is wearing a beatiful, tight pink, flowery cotton t-shirt.


Remember “TOO”

   Too means more than necessary.

    Examples: That jacket is too small for you. The dress is too long for you.


Remember “ENOUGH”

   Enough means sufficient.

   Examples: This sweater is big enough for me.

                     These summer clothes are cheap enough.


Remember “ENOUGH”

  Enough means “less than sufficient” in negative sentences.

  Examples: This sweater isn’t big enough for me.

                    These summer clothes aren’t cheap enough.


Describing clothes and models:

She is wearing a comfortable, yellow, cotton t-shirt. She is wearing trousers loose enough for her. She is wearing black leather shoes.

NEW T-shirt: 19 euros, Trousers: 10 euros, Shoes: 25 euros.


Describing clothes and models:

The boy has a gamer urban tribe style. He is wearing a cap, big headphones and a white cotton t-shirt. He looks very fashionable.
