Make sure you avoid making the following common mistakes:

  • I'm wearing red skirt.

Remember to use the indefinite article in front of singular items of clothing.

I'm wearing a red skirt.

  • I'm wearing a jeans.

Remember not to use the indefinite article in front of plural items of clothing. Revise here.

I'm wearing jeans.

  • I wear boots.

Use the present continuous, not the present simple, to describe what you are wearing right now, at the moment of speaking. Learn more here.
