William Shakespeare is the most important writer in English language, just like Cervantes is for the literature in Spanish. William Shakespeare was born in Stratford- upon -Avon in 1564 and he died in 1616, short before becoming 52.

On 28th November 1582, when he was 18, he married Anne Hathaway, who was three months pregnant1. The couple had three children: Susanna and the twins2 Hamnet and Judith. Hamnet died when he was just eleven years old and only his two daughters reached adulthood. There is no record of Shakespeare´s life after his marriage until 1952, when he appears in London as an actor and a writer.

Shakespeare went back to his place of birth in 1611 and he died on 23rd April 1616. Susanna and Judith, his daughters, were alive after his death. Susanna and Judith got married but their children did not have any descendants3.

Shakespeare was buried in Holy Trinity Church in Stratford. He wrote many plays, some of the most famous are:

Hamlet, Romeo and Juliet, Macbeth,The Merchant of Venicce, Midsummer's Night Dream, Much ado about nothing,...
