Breaking news
Imagine you are the editor of a newspaper.
You have to put together the front page of your newspaper writing the headlines of different sections using the passive voice.

1 - Complete the table with your headlines.

2 - Now, choose one of your news or headline and write an article about it.
This is the last tasks of the academic year. Use the knowledge acquired during the year. Write no less than 150 words.
Be as creative as possible using your own words!
Don’t forget to include:

Some passive sentence and underline them in your article.

Present perfect for breaking news to announce what has happened.

Past simple to describe the details.

If you want you can use reported speech to report what the people involved in the news have said.
3 - Once you have written the texts, then it’s time to make a video.
Imagine you are the anchorman/woman of a TV News program. Record a video giving the news you wrote in the previous activity. Add some photos and images to make it more attractive.
Once you have recorded your video, upload it to your account in YouTube or Dropbox. If you don't have one, we explain how to open one in the section Ayuda y Entrega.
