In this task you will have to make an entry about a Briton (male or female, dead or alive, from England, Scotland or Wales) that you find interesting. You will also write a comment on the intervention of one of your classmates.

The person you chose MUST NOT BE/HAVE BEEN a politician or from the royal family.

In order to avoid repetitions, first read your classmates contributions to the task before you start to write about your own Briton.

Here is a list of what you have to do:

1. Go to the Padlet wall that your teacher has opened for this task and read about your classmates Britons.

2. Now choose a different Briton. Remember she or he must no have been or be a politician or ‘royal’. Use internet to help you if you need it.

3. Gather information about that person and write down the links you used.

4. Use the template you’ll find in “Entrega” to:

a) write a composition about that person. (200 words). You have to include 2 relative clauses in your composition. Underline them.

We don’t want a ‘biography’. Write a ‘personal’ composition giving some important information about him or her but the main target is to write about the reason or reasons you had to choose that person and explain them to the class.

(Posible estructura: Un párrafo con los ‘datos’ de la persona. Uno o dos párrafos dando las razones que te llevaron a esa elección. Párrafo final de conclusión.)

b) write the internet links where you found the information used.

c) Read the composition of one of your classmates and write a short comment about his/her Briton. (+-70 words)

5. Post your composition in a new column at the Padlet wall of the activity given by your teacher.

6. Include a video and /or a photo of the person.

7. Post your comment at the end of your classmate column (+-70 words)

8. Send the template with your composition, the links used and your comment to your teacher.

Remember that you need to write your own composition, DO NOT COPY from the Internet. Use it as a tool to find information that you must organize and write about later.

Don’t forget to include the links used to do your composition and your comment about the Briton of a classmate.
